ELECTRONIC ARTS SUPPORTS INTERNATIONAL GAME SUMMIT
WITH LOCAL ROOTS
Second Annual Vancouver International Game Summit to be Held May 21-22, 2008WITH LOCAL ROOTS

VANCOUVER, B.C. CANADA - April 22, 2008 -Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS), welcomes industry heavy hitters from around the world as title sponsor of the Vancouver International Game Summit (VIGS), to be held in Vancouver May 21-22, 2008.
The summit, now in its second year, brings together studio executives, game designers, programmers, artists, students and educators for a two-day meeting-of-the-minds on the state of the global gaming industry. With world class speakers, presentations from legendary designers and a variety of educational, networking and business opportunities, the Vancouver International Game Summit has become a signature event in what is now a global $37.5-billion dollar industry.

The inaugural Game Summit, held in May 2007 was attended by more than 450 people. This year's Summit is expected to attract more than 1000 participants from as far and wide as China, Australia, and Germany. Among those speaking at this year's event include legendary video game director and Naughty Dog co-founder, Jason Rubin, Shane Kim, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Games Studio, and Athomas Goldberg, Worldwide Product Manager for Animation, Electronic Arts.
